My focus is to provide mental health and chemical dependency counseling services to individuals, couples and families with a variety of issues using a multitude of interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in a positive, solution-focused fashion to help learn to solve their problems.
Including but not limited to depression, postpartum mental health, chemical dependency, anxiety, crisis, adjustment disorders, OCD, mood disorders, women’s issues, abuse, codependency, self-esteem, trauma, self injury, personality disorders, LGBTQ issues including transgender and gender identity, and stress management; Chemical Dependency Assessments; Couples Counseling; Family Counseling; Parenting Issues, CBT and DBT, EMDR, and many more.
As a professional counselor I strive to help people to the best of my ability to help solve their problems and create change. I pride myself on core values and adhere to the ethics of the field. My work is based on the belief that my clients' individual needs are of the utmost importance. I am entirely committed to providing the best care possible.

My experience includes providing mental health and chemical dependency counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in outpatient clinics, school districts, colleges, residential, hospital, crisis center & home-based settings. I am certified in postpartum mental health. I am a member of the South Dakota Counseling Association, a branch of the American Counseling Association, and have served on the board in various capacities as the past Ethics Coordinator of SDCA, Past-President of the Sioux Chapter of SDCA, Past-President of SDCA, and Past-President of South Dakota Association of Counselor Educators and Supervisors.

Billing will reflect a combination of factors including expertise, potential practice income loss, travel time, updates, reports, and courtroom waiting time. Please contact myself if you have any questions regarding billing. A deposit/retainer of $500.00 is required and is due before court. Please note that in custody cases, my duty is to advocate for the child. I am not able to serve as an "expert witness" in custody cases as I will refer to mediation.
Missed Appointments, No Shows, or Late Cancellations:
My policy is to charge for “no show” appointments at the rate of a normal office visit. Appointments that are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance are also subject to this fee. Please help me to better you by keeping your scheduled appointment
